The campground is run down, and looks like an old KOA. The pool behind the office is not kept, and is dirty, etc. There are very few trees, the ones it has are taken by people living there. Even for $20 full hookups, the regulars living there are scary. Go to the state park if even for one night and move on. The town has lots of closed businesses and is very run down.
We stayed for a week here after reading lots of reviews on other RV Parks in Las Vegas. The security of the park was excellent, as the area around it is not that good. The staff were very friendly, and they even raked the grounds under the trees 7 days a week. The pool was huge, and the water cool considering it was 110 on most days. The dog walk gravel needs to be washed down more often as it smelled so bad our dogs wouldn't even get close to it. There are people that live here, but they are parked separate from the daily users.
